Auzewell Chitewe
Auz is an Associate Director for the Quality Improvement department.
Auz has worked for the Trust since 2003 in various clinical and corporate roles. Since 2000, when he started his nurse training with placement across East London, he has dedicated his career to serving communities in east London and now Bedfordshire through various roles. He has worked in the Quality Improvement department since 2015. In addition to supporting numerous local quality improvement projects, he has also Ied system-wide improvement work on Reducing Bed Occupancy, Improving Access to Services, Service User Participation and Enjoying Work.
Auz is a registered Mental Health Nurse, Specialist Practitioner Nurse in Community Mental Health, project manager (Prince2 and Agile), recipient of the Leadership Award from the NHS Leadership Academy and certified Improvement Advisor from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
Auz is also faculty for teaching and coaching on the application of improvement science internally and externally. He represents the ELFT QI programme at numerous internal and external events.
