Taking a SAFERR Approach to Staff Safety Across Tower Hamlets Community Health Services

In 2023, Tower Hamlets Community Health Services launched a quality improvement (QI) project to strengthen staff safety, by improving the culture around incident reporting. They wanted to create an environment where staff felt more confident and supported to report incidents, recognising reporting as an opportunity for learning and improvement.

In this short video, the team shares the change ideas they tested, the impact these had, and the reflections from the team throughout the project. It provides a practical example of how meaningful, tested changes can help foster a more open reporting culture and contribute to a safer environment for both staff and service users.
