Join for a Masterclass in Leadership for Improvement on Thursday 7 December 2017 with Dr Brian Robson.

Brian is Executive Medical Director at Healthcare Improvement Scotland and will spend the morning with us thinking about High-Impact Leadership, with a specific focus on the triple aim of improving care, improve the health of populations, and reducing costs. We will also spend some time learning about the 5 high impact leadership behaviours:

• Person-centeredness: Be consistently person-centered in word and deed
• Front Line Engagement: Be a regular, authentic presence at the front line and a visible champion of improvement
• Relentless Focus: Remain focused on the vision and strategy
• Transparency: Require transparency about results, progress, aims, and defects
• Boundarilessness: Encourage and practice systems thinking and collaboration across boundaries

Brian will describe how they are trying to strengthen these in Scotland, and we’ll have a chance to reflect on our own individual and collective leadership behaviours at ELFT
