Looking for ways to improve staff experience and satisfaction in your team?

Being at work is great, but enjoying work is better. Let’s look after each other so we can better care for the communities we serve.

Since 2017, more than 60 teams from across East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT) have come together to work on projects to improve their team’s experience and satisfaction at work. These teams have used quality improvement methods, leadership models, team building exercises and other tools and methods to help their teams achieve their full potential.

Here are some of these team’s stories here>>>

This is only one of many ways ELFT is trying to improve staff experience, which is at the heart of the ELFT strategy. The evidence suggests that there is a correlation between improved staff experience and improved service user experience and outcomes. Like most other things in life, ‘you cannot give what you do not have’.

If you and your team would also like to work on improving experience and satisfaction, this is what is on offer:

  • Support for teams to build on their strengths and take control to create great places to work.
  • Interactive monthly virtual learning sessions.
  • Regular support from local coaches and the central QI department.
  • Here’s what a previous team said: “The team feels more empowered to make changes happen. It has brought our team closer and we work better together!”
