The purpose of the visits with our partners at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) is to help directorates reflect on the application of improvement and inform local strategic direction for improvement through tailored meetings/events in directorates. The QI team will help with design and scheduling of the sessions.

Derek Feeley is the former IHI President and CEO. He has visited ELFT every year since our partnership with IHI began in 2014. Prior to joining IHI Derek was CEO of NHS Scotland.

Pedro Delgado is the Vice President, Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), oversees IHI’s portfolio of work in three regions (Latin America, Europe, and Australasia) and the IHI Open School. He coaches senior leaders and teams, and lectures extensively worldwide on large-scale change, patient safety, and quality improvement.

Patti Harvey is an executive director for Kaiser Permanente’s Care Management  Institute. Patti oversees programs that support the development and implementation of the USA Medicare Clinical Care Delivery Strategy. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in public health specialising in healthcare management.
