30-minute, two-part practical training on a specific QI tool that you can use with your team straight away. These tools can help you tackle problems ranging from waiting lists to recruitment.  

In Part 1 you’ll be taught about and shown the use of a tool used in Q. We then invite you to use this tool in your local setting and team before you come back for part Part 2. In Part 2 we offer further coaching from the QI Department on how to apply this in your workplace building on your experiences so far.

Identifying Waste

We are repeating our successful workshop from 2021 for those of you missed this, with a coaching session to support those wanting to take this work further. These learning sessions are designed to help understand and identify the eight types of process waste. Doing so can help shape ideas to remove waste, reduce associated costs, release staff time for better use, and ensure that service users receive care efficiently.

• Waste Session: Monday 4th April, 9.00 am – 9.30 am

The coaching session below is for anyone who has attended either our 2021 or 2022 learning sessions. We encourage people to bring the outcome of their waste finding activities to share and think about next steps.
