Our 2018 conference will include:

  • Keynote Address by Dr Navina Evans, Chief Executive, ELFT
  • Keynote Address by Jennifer Dixon, Chief Executive of the Health Foundation
  • World Cafe sessions to learn about some of the work happening in our teams using QI.
  • Our progress and a look to the future of quality at ELFT – looking at our quality system and moving towards the triple aim.

Optional Workshops

We will also be running the following optional afternoon workshops for external delegates:

  • Leadership for improvement – this session will be led by the ELFT executive team, helping senior leaders think about their role in building a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Tips and tricks for getting started with QI – a workshop led by senior improvement leaders who will help you think about how to get started with QI in your organisation.
  • Service User and Carer Involvement – Find out more about People Participation at ELFT and how you can support & encourage it in your organisation.
  • Research and Improvement – Learn about how research and improvement can work together towards shared organisational goals, and hear examples and stories from ELFT.

More about our Keynote Speaker

We will have the privilege of hearing from  Jennifer Dixon, Chief Executive at The Health Foundation as our keynote speaker. Jennifer was Chief Executive of the Nuffield Trust from 2008 to 2013. Prior to this, she was director of policy at The King’s Fund and was the policy advisor to the Chief Executive of the National Health Service between 1998 and 2000. Jennifer has undertaken research and written widely on health care reform both in the UK and internationally.

  • There is no fee for ELFT Staff, Service Users, Carers & Governors can attend the morning conference from 9.00 – 1.00pm
  • Tickets for External Delegates attending the morning conference (9.00-1.00pm) will be a minimal £25 to cover venue costs
  • Tickets for External delegates attending the morning conference and staying for an afternoon workshop will cost £25 plus the workshop fee of £50
