Pre-call with workshop participants:

3 day improvement workshop:
- 16th – 18th December 2015 @ The Great Hall, Leyton
Post-workshop calls (1 hour each)
- Call 1 by WebEx – 13th January 2016
- Call 2 by WebEx – 9th March 2016
- Call 3 by WebEx – 19th April 2016
Learning sets (to share progress on projects and add more theory)
- Learning Set 1 – 5th February 2016
- Learning Set 2 – 13th May 2016

Who is it suitable for?
- Anybody leading QI projects
- Anybody who has completed Open School and Pocket QI and wants a deeper knowledge around QI
- QI sponsors
- Service Users & Carers
- DMT members
- Consultants and speciality doctors
- Senior nurses (band 6 and above)
- Senior pharmacists or senior technicians
- Psychologists
What are the pre-requisites?
- Attendees must have a QI project. The project selected needs to align with local directorate priorities and be approved by the respective DMT/QI sponsors.
- Attendees need to be able to commit to attending all training days and learning sets
What is the course length & structure?
- Total course length is 5 months, including:
- 5 full days of workshops
What is covered?
- Fundamentals of running successful QI projects
- Understanding the problem you are trying to tackle
- Developing aim statements and driver diagrams
- Measuring data for improvement
- Using Plan Do Study Act cycles to test change ideas
- Implementation and Quality control
