Our graduation for Wave 8 Improvement Leaders’ Programme is on Tuesday 12th March 2019 at the Holiday Inn London Bloomsbury. In preparation for the event delegates and their project teams need to produce a project poster and return to the QI team by Friday 1st March.

Who is it suitable for?
- All staff members (nursing, clinical, operational, executive) in a leadership position are expected to complete the ILP
- Any staff member of any level involved or leading a QI project
- Any service user/carer who is involved in a QI project
What are the pre-requisites?
- Attendees must have a QI project. The project selected needs to align with local directorate priorities and be approved by the respective DMT/QI sponsors.
- Attendees need to be able to commit to attending all training days and learning sets
What is the course length & structure?
- Total course length is 5 months, including:
- 5 full days of workshops
What is covered?
- Fundamentals of running successful QI projects
- Understanding the problem you are trying to tackle
- Developing aim statements and driver diagrams
- Measuring data for improvement
- Using Plan Do Study Act cycles to test change ideas
- Implementation and Quality control
