Adapting my home for virtual working

Hi I am May Sunday, Senior Programme Officer for the ELFT QI Department.

Despite the changes that COVID-19 has brought, it was important for me to continue to support the Quality Improvement Department and staff across the Trust in a productive way now more than ever.

The pandemic came as a shock to us all and my priority is to ensure that we are still able to provide the best support to staff, service users and carer’s virtually. To be able to do this effectively, I felt that upgrading my home office workstation was the best way to be more productive during this challenging times. I took the initiative to replicate my office workstation at home to allow me maintain a good posture whilst supporting my colleagues, carers and service users in the best possible way.

Although the pressure to deliver has increased, I feel that this has also brought about other opportunities that I can also build upon personally.
