Improvement Advisor - Bedfordshire & Luton Mental Health (Community & Inpatients)
Chloe Preston is an Improvement Advisor in the Quality Improvement department supporting our Bedfordshire Mental Health – Inpatient and Bedfordshire Mental Health – Community directorates.
Chloe joined ELFT in 2021 as a Data Analyst on the NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme. Working within the Informatics department introduced Chloe to Quality Improvement and the tangible benefits it can have on the lives of service users and staff. In her previous role, she was the data lead for the Trust performance board report, developing her expertise in the creation and use of control charts, a key element of Quality Improvement.
Chloe holds a Masters in Antimicrobial Resistance, giving her a deep understanding and interest in Public Health. This motivated her to lead on a project that looked at equity and equality across Trust services, incorporating 2021 census data.
Chloe is passionate about service user involvement, particularly within corporate projects. She is excited to begin working with the QI team and to help services understand how they can use a variety of data to make meaningful improvements.
Outside of work, Chloe is working towards her postgraduate diploma in Health Informatics, she enjoys cooking, socialising with friends and buying far too many house plants. “
