Julie Archer
Julie Archer is an Occupational Therapist with clinical experience in neurological rehab and intermediate care rehab across acute, specialist inpatient units and in the community.
She is currently the clinical lead in a joint ELFT and social care rehab team. More recently, Julie was seconded to led a project to increase Allied Health Professional student placements across NEL, in addition to working with colleagues from across NEL NHS trusts on a project to retain the workforce.
She has experience in reviewing clinical pathways, writing policy and enjoys working collaboratively across teams and systems and project work. Julie is a member of both ELFT and TH social care LGBTQ+ networks.
A QI Coach role involves:
- Coaching QI teams within directorates, meeting with the team regularly
- Deeper knowledge of improvement methods and tools
Their responsibilities are:
- Help engage people and teams in QI
- Support project teams to develop ideas and strategy, using QI tools, and advise on how to complete project documentation
- Support project teams in using QI methodology, including PDSA cycles and data over time
- Provide monthly update on team progress to sponsor
- Teach and explain use of QI tools and methods
- Attend supervision with QI lead
